Rebel Studios needs high quality digital scans (at least 300 dpi and 600 is even better) of all pages and covers for:
The Faust Hornbook by Quinn and Vigil
777: The Wrath by Quinn and Vigil
Faust/Wrath: Darkness in Collision by Quinn and Vigil
Faust: Book of M by Quinn and Vigil
Faust: Singha’s Talons by Quinn and Vigil
Faust: Claire’s Lust by Quinn and Vigil
Nightvision by Quinn and King, Hotz, Bolton, Maldonado and Others
Got any of ’em? Please share with us! Thanks for your help above and beyond. And I am sure you all can guess why we need to recover the lost files from the last century.
<<No, Avatar does not have them… And yes, we are working on bringing other Rebel Studios based books back into print, too… >>
Since we are still assembling files, it won’t be shipping soon. But our Italian Publisher, Editoriale Cosmo, wants to license these books in addition to Love of the Damned… and someday, shouldn’t you have a copy of Faust: The New Testament on your shelf next to The Old?
Here is Where You Can Email Files ( quinnjaspers@yahoo.com )
Hello i have some of them in cbr format. Dont know the dpi on them tho.
Thanks a lot, Chris — if .cbr is the comic book reader app, I think we have that. (And I am not sure I can convert it to a tif although our design Ace Phil who just designed the Faust Omnibus probably can…) So hold off. I may come back to you!
Any time. Ill toss them on a usb drive in the meantime just in case..
Okay, Chris, I found an app to extract JPG from CBR — unfortunately all files that started as CBR are too small to print from. So I am coming back to ask you to share yours. You can use and file sharing site — wetransfer is easy and free if you don’t usually do this. TY quinnjaspers@yahoo.com
I semt you one of the cbr. Claires lust avatar to see if it works. If it does ill use the file share u suggested.
Hi David,
I have several originals that you may be interested in, please let me know.
The Faust Hornbook by Quinn and Vigil – Tim’s cover: original pencil preliminary and final inks. Nightvision by Quinn and King, Hotz, Bolton, Maldonado and Others – Hannibal’s wraparound painting for the Thorby collection, interior cover painting for the same collection.
The smaller pieces I can get you scans for, no problem, but the wraparound painting is huge…20×30, that I’m not sure what to do, suggestions?
take care, Michael
